Introduction "Bata Shoes"
The Bata name became
known in the then Malaya When the first store opened in the Capitol Building,
Singapore in 1930. Tomas Bata Shoe Company Limited limits established to carry
on the business as manufacturers, distributors and marketers of footwear, as
well as dealers in leather and rubber goods. Five years later, a factory was
built in Klang, Selangor to Produce PVC injected footwear for both domestic and
overseas markets. Bata is a leading footwear manufacturer and marketer in
Malaysia and operates a retail chain of more than 270 stores which consists of
the City.
Objective
The objective of the
advertising campaign is to popularize and promote product Bata shoes are almost
forgotten. In addition, their new design to introduction of a line as per Bata
shoes life style as fashion trend. Renewed or recycle brand image will help company
Bata to attract upper middle class of
the society.
Problem Statement
The problem statement
is less competitive price due to high cost structure. In addition, the brand
Bata shoes less well received due to the reduction of the campaign to introduce
the brand Bata shoes and attract customers. Moreover, no new production design
from Bata company.
