Typography Skill - Alphabet

During class, we were asked to find some idea to do alphabet like collage, photography, use adobe ai or ps and etc.

Before I start doing my project, I has do some research for my material I use.

RECYCLING

•   Recycling is a process to change (waste) materials into new products to prevent waste of potentially useful materials.
•  reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials
• reduce energy usage
• reduce air pollution (from incineration) and water pollution (from landfilling) by reducing the need for "conventional" waste disposal
•  lower greenhouse gas emissions as compared to plastic production
• Recycling is a key component of modern waste reduction and is the third component of the "Reduce, Reuse and Recycle" waste hierarchy.
• Materials to be recycled are either brought to a collection center or picked up from the curbside, then sorted, cleaned, and reprocessed into new materials bound for manufacturing.

First idea ( straw )

Straw

• Most plastic drinking straw are made from plastic
• Plastic can recyclable
• A drinking straw is a short tube intended for transferring a beverage from its container to the mouth of the drinker.

History

• Historians do know when the idea of a straw was invented
• The first know straw were made by Sumerians
• The oldest drinking straw in existence found in a Sumerian tomb date 3.000 B.C.E ( S.M)

Health And Environment

• One particular advantages of using a straw when drinking is the reduction of tooth decay
• Using a straw reduces the liquid with the teeth
• Made from ‘ Polyprogylene ‘ ( Polipropilena )
• Can reused rather than recycle into other products
• A basic drinking straw is straight for the full length.

 Black Color

•  Refer to personality
• Relates to hidden
• The secretive
• The unknown
• A result it creates an air of mystery
• The color gives perfection from external emotional stress
• It creates a barrier between itself and the outside world
• Proving comfort while protecting its emotions and feeling, hiding its vuinerabilities, Insecurities and lack of self confident
• Black color is often seen as a color sophisfication as in ‘ the little balack dress ‘ or ‘ the black tie event.

Firstly, I do mind map before i start the process to create my artwork. My theme is ' The Black Straw Symbolizes Personality

I has 2 idea to do collage for my idea. My first Idea use material for do alphabet is Newspaper and the second idea is straw.Before I start doing my artwork. I do the sketch for my idea.
